The Parallax Effect!!

Web design is getting more and more innovative. Designers are having to find newer and more effective ways of promoting products and services and making them more memorable to visitors. One such way is through the use of a technique called the Parallax Effect.

Originally used by the gaming industry, the Parallax Effect has gained major popularity among web design companies over the last few years and is sure to be used more heavily in years to come.

Parallax Scrolling is a special scrolling technique, where background images move slower than foreground images. This creates an illusion of depth.

Many web designers have tackled these types of projects well and the parallax effect is something we here at the Smart Domain Group find extremely interesting. Could this be a great way to make peace between the fold lovers and the scrollers?
