New App Released to Help Surrey Youth Workers
Surrey Council has released a new smartphone and tablet app to cut down on paperwork and allow its youth workers to spend more time with young people.
Designed to cut down form filling time and allow youth workers more time to dedicate to the children in their care, the app, which can be used on Blackberry's Playbook tablet and Torch smartphone, will cost Surrey Council around £100,000 a year and is the first of its kind.
A more dedicated and focused workforce will no doubt be of great benefit to Surrey's children and a great success may see the app released in other areas of the UK.
