Canals and rivers soon to be added to Google Maps

To expand its coverage of the UK, Google has announced plans to being mapping over 2,000 miles of Britain and Wales' canals and rivers.

While encouraging more people to use our rivers and canals, the initiative will allow users to locate places and locations easier, therefore making it even simpler for companies to be found. 

These new developments could be especially helpful for local businesses and companies that are based near Britain's rivers and canals and could provide additional trade that they may not previously have had.
